The Lea Hin Group was first established in 1935 by entrepreneur Woo Kai Lea (1911-1977) in a rented shophouse at 156 South Bridge Road before the eventual move to 231 South Bridge Road.(2018-0020)
The lantern was produced by Lea Hin Group. Its factory with its iconic red star along Alexandra Road has become a landmark in Queenstown. It is one of the major suppliers of steel casement windows, window grilles and roller shutters (2018-0020)
